Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using our services or submitting an enquiry. They outline the rights and responsibilities of both Solace Grove and the individuals and families we work with.

Definitions

Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the following terms carry the meanings described below:

  • "Service" refers to any residential care, rehabilitation, or day program offering provided by Solace Grove.
  • "Resident" means the individual receiving care at Solace Grove.
  • "Family Representative" means a family member or legally authorised person acting on behalf of a Resident.
  • "We / Us / Our" refers to Solace Grove, operating from 196 Ngam Wong Wan Road, Lak Si, Bangkok 10210, Thailand.
  • "Agreement" means the residential or program service agreement signed between Solace Grove and the Resident or Family Representative.
  • "Website" refers to the Solace Grove web presence accessible at solacegrov.pro.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry, entering into a Service Agreement, or using the Solace Grove website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you are acting as a Family Representative on behalf of a Resident, you represent that you have the legal authority to do so and that the Resident, where capable, has been informed of these terms.

Admission to Solace Grove is available to adults aged 18 and above. Services are designed for elderly individuals, those recovering from illness or surgery, and older adults seeking structured social engagement.

Service Description

Solace Grove provides residential care services from its facility in Lak Si, Bangkok. Our current service offerings include:

  • Full-Time Residential Care — ongoing residential support within a home-like environment, including personalised care coordination, daily meals, and medical liaison services.
  • Rehabilitation & Recovery Stay — short-to-medium-term structured support for individuals recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, incorporating physiotherapy and occupational therapy coordination.
  • Day Program & Social Engagement — a structured weekday program offering activities, social interaction, and supervised daytime care for older adults.

Services are subject to availability and suitability assessments. Solace Grove reserves the right to determine, following a care assessment, whether a particular service is appropriate for an individual's needs.

All services are delivered from the Solace Grove facility. Solace Grove does not provide mobile or visiting care services at this time.

User & Family Responsibilities

Residents and Family Representatives are asked to:

  • Provide complete and accurate information during the admissions process, including medical history, current medications, and known allergies.
  • Notify Solace Grove promptly of any changes in the Resident's health status, emergency contacts, or legal representation.
  • Respect the welfare and dignity of other residents, staff members, and visitors at all times.
  • Adhere to the facility's visiting arrangements and any care-related schedules communicated by the care coordination team.
  • Ensure that any personal belongings brought into the facility are appropriate and do not pose a risk to others.
  • Settle account balances within the timeframes set out in the Service Agreement.

Behaviour that is disruptive, threatening, or harmful to staff, residents, or the facility environment may result in review of the service arrangement.

Payment Terms

Service fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are subject to the current schedule at the time of the Service Agreement. Current indicative pricing is as follows:

  • Full-Time Residential Care: ฿30,000 per month
  • Rehabilitation & Recovery Stay: ฿18,000 per week
  • Day Program & Social Engagement: ฿8,500 per month

Payment is due as specified in the Service Agreement. For monthly services, invoices are typically issued at the beginning of each period. For weekly stays, payment arrangements will be confirmed at admission.

Accepted payment methods include Thai bank transfer and other methods confirmed in writing at the time of agreement. Receipts are issued upon payment.

Deposit: A refundable deposit may be required at the time of admission. Deposit amounts and conditions will be outlined in the Service Agreement.

Late Payment: Accounts that remain unpaid beyond the agreed period may incur an administrative review. Solace Grove will communicate directly with the Family Representative before any further action is taken.

Service Adjustments: Fees may be reviewed periodically. Any change to fees will be communicated with a minimum of 30 days' written notice prior to taking effect.

Service-Specific Conditions

Full-Time Residential Care

  • Admission is subject to a care needs assessment conducted by the Solace Grove team.
  • A minimum notice period of 30 days is requested for planned departures. This may be reduced in circumstances requiring urgent care transitions.
  • Room configuration preferences are noted and accommodated where availability permits.
  • External medical appointments remain the responsibility of the Family Representative, though coordination support is available.

Rehabilitation & Recovery Stay

  • Typical stay durations range from two to eight weeks. Extensions may be available subject to availability and ongoing assessment.
  • Physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions are coordinated as part of the program; sessions are not interchangeable between weeks.
  • Weekly progress updates are shared with designated family contacts and, where applicable, referring physicians.
  • Early departure will be accommodated with as much notice as possible; fees for the remaining scheduled period are outlined in the Service Agreement.

Day Program & Social Engagement

  • The Day Program operates Monday through Friday. Public holidays and planned closures are communicated in advance.
  • Enrollment options include full five-day attendance or selected days, as discussed during an introductory visit.
  • Transportation assistance is available for participants in nearby areas of Bangkok; details are confirmed at enrollment.
  • Cancellation of individual days should be communicated by 8:00 AM on the day in question where possible.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Solace Grove website — including text, design elements, graphics, and structural information — is the property of Solace Grove and is protected under applicable Thai and international intellectual property laws.

Visitors to the website are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to view and access content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This does not include the right to copy, reproduce, distribute, or adapt any content without prior written consent.

The Solace Grove name and visual identity may not be used in any form without authorisation.

Disclaimers

Solace Grove provides care and support services in a residential environment. Our team works with dedication and care; however, care outcomes depend on many individual factors and cannot be predicted in advance.

Information on the Solace Grove website is provided for general purposes only and does not constitute medical or legal advice. Families are encouraged to consult qualified professionals regarding specific medical or legal matters.

Solace Grove does not act as a medical provider. While we coordinate with external physicians, medical treatment is provided by qualified external practitioners, not by Solace Grove directly.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted under Thai law, Solace Grove's liability in connection with any claim arising from the use of its services shall be limited to the fees paid for the specific service period in question.

Solace Grove shall not be liable for indirect losses, including loss of enjoyment, loss of opportunity, or consequential harm, arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury or damage caused directly by Solace Grove's negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under Thai consumer protection law.

Indemnification

By entering into a Service Agreement, the Resident or Family Representative agrees to indemnify Solace Grove against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • The provision of inaccurate or incomplete information during the admissions or assessment process.
  • Conduct by the Resident or visitors that causes harm or damage to third parties or to the facility.
  • Failure to comply with the terms outlined in the Service Agreement or these Terms and Conditions.

Termination of Services

By the Family or Resident: Written notice of departure should be provided in accordance with the period specified in the Service Agreement (typically 30 days for residential services). Shorter notice may be accepted in compassionate circumstances.

By Solace Grove: In rare circumstances, Solace Grove may need to end a service arrangement. These include situations where the Resident's needs exceed the level of care we are equipped to provide safely, or where conduct poses a significant risk to others. In such cases, we will work with the Family Representative to facilitate an appropriate transition with as much lead time as reasonably possible.

Upon termination, any outstanding balances will be settled in accordance with the Service Agreement. Refundable deposits will be returned within 14 days, subject to any deductions outlined in the agreement.

Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the services of Solace Grove shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

Where concerns arise, we encourage an open conversation with our management team as a first step. Many matters can be addressed through direct discussion, and we are committed to responding to concerns thoughtfully and promptly.

Where informal resolution is not possible, parties may pursue resolution through the relevant consumer protection channels under Thai law, including the Office of the Consumer Protection Board.

General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Service Agreement, form the complete agreement between the parties regarding the services described.
  • Severability: If any clause in these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
  • Waiver: Solace Grove's decision not to enforce a particular term on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of that term.
  • Assignment: These Terms may not be transferred to a third party without the written consent of Solace Grove.

Changes to These Terms

Solace Grove may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Where changes are material, we will communicate updates to current residents and their family contacts in writing, with a minimum of 14 days' notice before the revised terms take effect.

The current version of these Terms is always available on our website. Continued use of services after the effective date of any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
